CHRONOTOPES IN IRON BLUE
DIMENSIONS
During the dark months, we built a light source of our own to make cyanotypes in the studio. Exposure and development alter the density and detail of each image. Screenprinted layers follow, some immediately visible and others barely there.
Handmade paper retains the traces of these decisions. Held in acrylic boxes, the small works ask for a closer view. Each is unique, even when a motif returns elsewhere.
The Image Is Free names a studio method: a motif can return in another material, scale or combination. Each physical work is identified separately and keeps its stated edition or unique status.
New cyanotypes are made in further batches through the dark months — contact the studio for the current selection. Each work carries its own title and is signed on the reverse when it leaves the studio.
