Across twelve unique works, one photographic smile is changed through color, rhythm and surface. Yellow tape crosses the image; polished resin gives it depth and catches the light.
Each work has its own configuration within the series.
Each work is signed when it leaves the studio.

The Image Is Free names a studio method: a motif can return in another material, scale or combination. Each physical work is identified separately and keeps its stated edition or unique status.
Process note: the series takes John Cage’s Variations as a point of departure.
The photographic image may return in another scale, material or constellation. No identical physical configuration is repeated within the series.
