Between Worlds
Which side is still looking?
IMAGE / OBJECT / MEMORY
A ruin, a face, a person beyond the glass
We keep developing new machines, medicines and technologies while repeating histories of violence and destruction. Between Worlds grows from this contradiction, and from the question of how we live with one another and the planet.
We gather images of damaged buildings, faces and everyday life online and rework them on cut glass. From a distance, the fragments form a field of images. Close to the glass, a detail draws us toward another person or place. Someone passing behind the work can enter the same view. New and previously used images meet in arrangements that change with each installation.

About this view
Long Line, an existing glass work within Between Worlds, shown in a proposed setting (photomontage).

An edge, a face, someone beyond the glass
You pick your nose. The world continues
A living person can appear through the image of a damaged building. The glass puts that encounter at a distance and brings it close at once. Broken edges interrupt what we see of one another; the gaps admit the room, its light and whoever happens to pass.

About this work
Faces look out from transparent industrial spheres. Curved surfaces distort their features; light casts their shadows onto walls and passing bodies. An astronaut’s helmet or a specimen jar: the enclosure suggests both protection and confinement. The title brings ‘star-born’ into contact with NATO.

Pigment prints on transparent film inside PET spheres, 26 cm high × 24 cm wide. Functioning prototypes within the open system of Between Worlds.
A face moves out. The room moves in

About this work
“INVEST IN PEACE” overlaps factory landscapes and human faces on a rotating cylinder of transparent film. Directed light casts shifting shadows across the room and the people around it. Mono-Lithos takes the form of a standing stone, but its apparent solidity dissolves into light, movement and shadow.
Pigment prints on transparent film. Current prototype within Between Worlds.

Installation / Materials / Inquiries
- Materials
- Photographic fragments, cut glass and layered acrylic, shown with moving-image passages. Long Line (approximately 300 cm), Short Line (approximately 120 cm) and Omni-World are works within Between Worlds, using photographic image transfer on glass. Mono-Lithos is a working prototype using pigment prints on transparent film.
- Installation
- Each installation rearranges the collage for its room. The whole collage constitutes the work; individual image fragments are not presented as standalone works. Broken Mindscape is an existing studio prototype and testbed for original works, with a frame measuring 250 × 120 × 4 cm. It can stand freely or approximately 20 cm from a wall. In a freestanding configuration, visitors can see one another through fragments of damaged buildings; near a wall, shadows extend the construction. Between Worlds continues to develop through new configurations, with a presentation planned in Bogotá, Colombia, in December 2026. Exhibition configurations and new productions on request.
- Inquiries
- Send us the work title and the exhibition context. We can discuss configuration and technical requirements with you. Discuss Between Worlds
For a new configuration
Between Worlds is arranged anew for each installation. Send us a plan or an exhibition context; we can discuss the configuration, the works it could include and the installation with you.
