The image takes a turn

Our photographs are notes: digital image combinations that we keep transforming across our open series. Bending, crumpling and folding opened another way of giving those notes physical form—and sending new messages.

Printed on both sides of aluminum, the image takes shape as a photographic sculpture. We place it inside an acrylic box, where hand-engraved lines and laser-engraved words introduce further layers to read. A fold conceals part of the photograph while another part turns toward the light.
